Step 1 Brief introduction to this Unit
Step 2 Lead-in
Talk about the picture. What’s the man’s job? What does a tailor do? What is he doing at the moment? What’s he hitting them with?
Step 3 Reading
1.Fast reading: tick out the people and things which in the story
2.Put the actions of the tailor into correct order.
3.Read the first two paragraphs in pairs and then number the sentences on the
screen from memory
4.Read paragraphs 3&4 and find the answers to the exercises on the screen
5.Read th e rest of the paragraphs and find the answer to the exercises on the
screen
6.Follow the tape once and under line the useful expressions
