There is No Need to Give Priority to Practical or Traditional Courses When it comes to "hot" and "cold" degrees, some people think that universities should give priority to practical courses while some others argue that universities should give priority to traditional courses. As far as I am concerned, there is no need to give priority to neither of them.

I have two reasons to illustrate my opinion. For one thing, no matter what degrees the students have, it is not easy for them to find a good job at current circumstance. On the one hand, some students with "hot" degrees can not find a suitable job;on the other

hand,some students with"cold"degrees can take up an occupation with which they are satisfied. So the key point is not whether the degree is "hot" or "cold". If you are specialized in the

profession,you will find a pretty job. Even though it is "cold",it is required in our society. On the contrary, there is a fierce competence for those

"hot"degrees, so the only some of the job hunters are selected by the employers. For another

thing,sometimes we do not get the job with our profession. We may be occupied because of our learning ability or some other excellent qualities.

To sum up, the most important reason that we are employed is not the degrees themselves but our qualities and abilities. Hence there is no need to give priority to neither of them.
