Kuwait is a country in the Middle East．Kuwait City is the capital of the country．It is very modern and busy, and it is the center of Kuwaiti business．Today, Kuwaiti life is an interesting mix of modern and traditional styles．Kuwaitis like their modern lifestyles, but they also still enjoy their old custorns, too．In their free time, people often gather in coffee shops．In the morning and afternoon hours, they are filled with women visiting with each other while their children play together．But the coffee shops are the most popular with the older gentlemen, who gather in the evenings to drink tea or coffee, and to relax and talk with their friends．Sports are an important part of Kuwaiti life．Since Kuwait is on the coast, people enjoy water sports like swimming, wind surfing, and water skiing．For Kuwaitis, soccer is the most popular sport．And Kuwaitis hardly ever miss a match when their team is playing．

W: So what are you studying in college?

M: Business．That's why I'm interested in this internship．I'd like to get an MBA after I graduate． W: I see．How much experience do you have about computers?

M: Actually, I don't have much．But I'm willing to learn．

W: Well, that's good to know．We don't require experience．We'll be glad to train you．Now this is

full-time, but you understand this is a volunteer position．

M: Oh, I know I won't get paid．And I understand I'll be working full-time．I just want to get some

background in business．

W: Would you be able to start on May 4th?

M: Yes, that's no problem．I finish my classes the third week of April．

W: Great．We need someone for May, June, and July．

M: You'll tell me the working hours per day, right? W: Yeah, 9:00 - 12: 00 in the morning and 2: 00 - 5: 00 in the afternoon．And we offer lunch

here．
