Abstract: In this paper, fast charging of lead acid battery is achieved by using high power SPMS as the charger sup-

ply. The regulate of charging voltage, control of charge and discharge pulse, detection and protection of batteries are ac-

hicved by microcontrollen In the charging process, using Mas’s Law as a guide, pulse charge of high current is adopted. A short time charging stop solves the problem of ion diffusion speed slower than chemical reaction speed and reduce the con-

centration polarization. At the same time, pulse discharge can make the electric charge that accumulated in the positive and negative electrode board quickly disappear, then the electrochemical polarization can be controlled.
