摘 要

机车是铁路运输的牵引动力，由于铁路车辆大都不具备动力装置，需要把客车或货车连挂成车列，由机车牵引站钢轨运行，，在车站上，车辆的转线以及货物取送车辆等各项作业，也都由机车完成。

由于机车的工作条件复杂，运用环境恶劣，为满足牵引要求，铁路必须保证供给可靠性高、牵引性

能良好、数量足够的机车，同时还应加强对机车的维护和维修，正确组织机车的合理运用。 铁路运用的机车有很多类型，按所用动力分为内燃机车和电力机车，现在主要运行电力机车，电力机

车的牵引力和爬坡能力比内燃机车和蒸汽机车要大得多，在载重过大或坡度较大的情况下无需采用多机牵引。电力机车最大的优点就是无限行程，只要车辆不驶离电气化段，就不会“饿倒”。无需像内燃机车和蒸汽机车那样经常补充燃料。

Summar

The greatest advantages of electric locomotive is infinite, don't leave as long as the vehicle electrification and wouldn't be hungry to pour. Without such as diesel locomotive and steam locomotive often refueling.
