Guidance for Implementation of CENELEC Guide 29 – Test and Certification Decisions
The decisions made by EK1/AG2 will be forwarded to EK1 with the recommendation to bring about an EK1-decision (adoption and publication).
This is by statute to ensure that the recognized test organizations apply equal requirements for the GS-Mark certification and therefore more legal certainty is assured.

ue to hot air rising by convection from the slots the risk of burning is clearly known to the user. Contact with the hot metal surface is therefore not likely. Immediately after end of operation (removal of the bread):工作之后即时发生 (拿开面包片时): It can be assumed that by experience the user will expect to touch the hot surface of the toast when removing the bread by hand (in general there is no burning hazard due to the rough surface structure, low thermal capacity and low thermal conductivity). This can be assumed if the bread will protrude from the slot sufficiently in the upper position of the pop-up mechanism (see Fig. 1).以上的分析基于面包片能够在弹出机构中伸出槽口足够的距离 (见下图)
(Fig. 1) Even if the toaster is provided with an additional“lift-up” function this function will not be considered.即使toaster附有一个额外的“lift-up”功能,这个功能也不被考虑。 A protrusion“a” (Fig. 1) of 20 mm over the highest point of the hot surface can be regarded as sufficient to allow a safe removal of the toast.
