IMPORTANT -- this common job inter v iew question can be asked in many different w ay s, such as "What qualities do you admir e in other s that you would like to develop in your self?"
Strengths should be easy enough to think about (keep the positio n in mind).
Talking about w eaknesses can be harder but good inter v iew answ ers are still possible. Many people choose to mention something w hich they've recognized as being a w eakness but hav e overcome.
"I'd like to be more organized, like one of my colleagues. She doesn't hav e to tr y. But because I don't find it as easy as her, I use to-do lists and a diary to help me successfully manage my w ork".
O n a final note, it's much safer to highlight y our lack of experience or know ledge as a w e akness than a fault in y our personality. Employ ers can alw ays giv e y ou experience but few w ant to help y ou ov ercome shortcomings in y our personality! So av oid telling interv iew ers that y ou "get bored" or "too inv olv ed" or "frustrated"!
